Yoga 35+

The practice of postures cannot be the same at the age of 35 and above as it was at 18 or 20.

The body changes, responsibilities change, life’s rhythm changes. Yoga naturally grows with us, with our limitations.

From 30-35 years of age, we have responsibilities and a tiredness we didn’t use to have: spouses, raising kids, nursing loved ones who are getting old, a demanding job, chronic pain, stress, etc. Our yoga practice should flow with these changes. It shouldn’t demand more than we can give.

On the contrary. It should nourish us and help to re-establish the balance we tend to lose in our day-to-day busy-ness.
